When it comes to blush, I’m a natural flush kinda gal. I like it to look as though I just roll out of bed looking healthy and pretty and like birds and small animals follow me around singing. Basically, this cream blush/highlighter/lip number from Benefit is right up my alley and has become a staple in my makeup routine. Benefit’s website describes Fine One One this way:
“Fine-one-one to the rescue! This sheer brightening cheek & lip color gives your look instant LIFT, SHAPE and POP. Glide on the three shades—pink champagne, sheer watermelon and soft coral—for a sheer coral pink flush that builds from soft & natural to bright & cheery.”
The two different blush shades blend smoothly together to form a beautiful, soft shade that’s neither too pink nor too peachy and would suit most complexions beautifully. The highlighter shade adds just the slightest touch of shimmer without looking like you’ve used a highlighter (good for us girls with built-in highlighter – aka oily skin). The formula is super creamy and smooth and melts right into the skin with minimal prompting. It’s also really buildable, you can use it for sneaky no-makeup looks or layer it for a bold summery style. One of the best things about this product is how easy it is. You just swipe it on and blend it in with your fingers – no brushes needed! It has great staying power for a cream formula but if you’re particularly prone to losing your blush as the day goes on, its adorable packaging is absolutely perfect for throwing in a bag to take with you.
I haven’t actually tried it as a lip tint, I’m usually leery of lip/cheek products – they always seem more suited to one or the other but I can 100% vouch for the cheek claim! The price tag is a bit steep ($30/.28 oz) but ultimately worth it. It’s a must-have product for a low-maintenance routine and gorgeous, natural makeup look.
Anyone else calling Fine One One on the reg?
